About Radio Margaritha 90.3FM
Radio Margaritha 90.3 FM is an independent radio station based in Willemstad, Curaçao, dedicated to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Curaçao. The station was established through Fundashon Jave’s Station, founded on July 27, 1995 by Francis Knepa, a Curaçaoan cultural director with a passion for the island’s history, folklore, music, art, literature, architecture, traditions and customs.
After launching Radio Margaritha Online in 2015, the initiative expanded into Radio Margaritha 90.3 FM. Its programming aims to provide a balanced mix of educational, informative, spiritual and entertainment content while promoting appreciation for Curaçao’s cultural, historical, artistic and literary heritage. The station also seeks to create opportunities for young people and artists to develop their talents and share their abilities through radio.
